You have to go on a gravel road to get to it but potentially good because then you can see the northern lights away from the city lights. Further, it’s great that there was a kitchen with all the equipment.

You find the hotel in the middle of nowhere with a stunning view. During the night from our room we could see aurora borealis, and in the morning we woke up for the sunrise. Staff was super nice an very helpful. Breakfast and dinner was tasty. Definitely a place to come back to 😍

If you drive, I'd highly recommend this place. I drove my family around the south coast of Iceland and got home late, but the self check-in is simple and easy. Since it's difficult to get food from restaurants late at night, we decided to cook something simple. The best thing about the property is the cooking utensils provided. It's pretty cold when we were in Iceland, but the property has multiple radiators, which quickly heats up the rooms in a really short time.
