We got the spectacular mountain view room so we could clearly see the glacier outlets. Great location for chasing the northern lights because the surroundings are farms with not much light. The food is nice. We had the signature local langoustine soup and vanilla ice cream for dinner and they were splendid. Rankes among my most favourite dishes in Iceland so far. The room is well equipped and comfortable. Good selection for breakfast.

Great hostel on the way of the Ring road. The room is clean and private bathroom, friendly staff at reception but it is important to keep in mind that the reception is open until the specified hours. Good road to the hostel. There is no kitchen but there is a coffee corner where you can make coffee or tea, brew something with boiling water, for this there are dishes and cutlery, a kettle. +Fantastic and amazing location surrounded by amazing landscapes 360 degrees. We could have a fantastic view of vesterhorn, heinaberg glacier from here + common toilet and bathroom were very clean and well maintained + Breakfast was excellent and the the breakfast eating area is with a fantastic view + paid dinner option was excellent . We get to taste the lamb meat from their own farm. It was fantastic. +Fantastic and lovely place to view the northern lights .

Outside view and interior is totally different. The room is fantastic with great views. Location is very deep in and road is difficult to drive. Kitchen facilities and bathroom are good.
