Friendly, helpful, caring generous hostess. Very clean apartment. Great night's sleep on the very comfortable bed. Everything worked: electric plugs, WiFi, the kitchen. The most well equipped clean place that we have stayed in our 3 weeks, ( lower budget travellers) in Sicily so far. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful family owned business and that is felt in all aspects. Everyone’s involvement is overwhelming almost, no detail has been missed. The location is remote, but easy to get to, raised on a hilltop, with a beautiful sea view. The rooms are spotless clean, beautifully designed in a most enchanting authentic rural manner, with all needed amenities. High attention to details for guest needs: hand cream next to the sink, full body lotion, hair conditioner, bath robes. We requested an extra single bed for our 3 yrs old daughter, as she usually sleeps independently and we didn’t want to break the good habit and the staff added it to the room before our arrival. Wonderful experience in the restaurant as well, the food is gourmet, but inspired from traditional Sicilian dishes and every course has been enjoyed by our family. We had a great stay at the Masseria! Marco, Roxanne, Federico & family, hello from Bucharest and thank you for everything!

Filippo was an incredible host. Made us feel very welcome. His story about how he started wine making is remarkable. And his wine is absolutely delicious. The Chardonnay was top class which we got to taste at the wine tasting. Francesco the chef was superb. The food he made was by far the best Sicilian food we ate on our whole trip. If we asked for anything, he obliged. Nothing was a problem to either Filippo or Francesco. We did the cooking class with Francesco and that was incredible. We learned about all the fine details that go into Sicilan food. I would highly recommend both the wine tasting and the cooking class. All the produce from the farm is organic, so no headache the next day after the superb red and white wines! The room was pristine and the whole farm is set in a truly idyllic place. The views are stunning. The road to the farm is a long one with some rough patches of surface but it is all part of the experience. I would highly recommend Tarantola to anybody!

We have travelled a lot, but this is the very first place where we truly felt like part of the family. Domenico and Gabriella went above and beyond to make us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is spotless, and what really impressed us was that if you need anything outside normal hours, you can simply text them and they will help you straight away. That level of care is rare to find. The food was absolutely outstanding—far better than any restaurants we tried during our stay. Fresh, authentic, and made with so much love. The wine from their own farm is divine—we are ordering some to the UK! Don’t miss trying their olive oil either; we bought bottles to take home with us. The whole place is beautifully peaceful and surrounded by stunning nature. It’s the perfect spot to relax and recharge. And if you’re looking for a bit of adventure, the 70 years old jeep excursion is an unforgettable experience—we highly recommend it. A truly special place in Sicily that we will always remember with warmth and gratitude
