Communication was excellent before and during my stay. The access process with a code is very straightforward and means that you can’t lose a key/card or lock yourself out. Just make sure to memorise the code! The apartment is centrally located and close to all tourist attractions in Turin. It is on a street with a tram but I really didn’t hear it much of it at all. The room is in a beautiful, old, historical building which was so charming and makes you feel like you are living like a local! The area felt very safe which is so important to me as a solo female traveller. The room itself has been renovated while still retaining the original charm. It was spacious and was just the right temperature. The bed was comfortable and it’s such a treat to have a little balcony! The fridge and microwave is much appreciated! The shower was very good and all towels in the bathroom were clean, perfectly white and really soft. The thing that surprised me the most was that I wasn’t expecting it to be cleaned at all during my stay as most apartment style lettings are not usually cleaned during a short stay in my experience. Therefore it was the most pleasant surprise to return to the room after the first day and see how well it had been cleaned and tidied! The floor had been mopped and everything. Immaculate! I was so impressed with the housekeeping every day. They even replaced the fresh drinking water in the fridge each day. There is a good supermarket downstairs which was really handy. Highly recommend Urban Relais. Grazie!

What a delightful little apartment! It is small, but fine for one or two people for a couple of days seeing Turin. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, which is hard to find in most accommodation. It was so tastefully decorated. There was even a small hob and saucepans to do a small meal, but with the restaurants close by, I don't think many visitors would bother. But everything is there in case it's needed. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the sites that have to be seen, although, as I was on the way to London by train so only stayed a night, I couldn't see all I wanted to. I highly recommend this apartment for a single lady too as I felt very safe there, and places to eat and drink are all on the doorstep. Turin was such a lovely surprise. I will have to come again and if I do, I'll be back to the Calin apartment, definitely. Lastly, Maria was a wonderful host. She communicated with me throughout and was there if I needed help. Thank you Maria. The Peppino restaurant just down the road which she recommended is the place to go for pizzas of great value.
