The guesthouse is located in a very sleepy town, so I didn't expect there would be much to do other than go to bed. Instead, I had one of the best nights of my trip! The workers and guests I met in the common area were great fun and we all stayed up late talking and playing board games.

Loved this little house; after spending the day in Omori, the Iwami Ginzan town, looking at all the old houses, it was really great to actually stay in an old renovated house. The owner was lovely and we had a few drinks in the down stairs bar. The town is also great to walk around to see a real snapshot in time.

Kazeto is right on the water in Yunotsu, a beautiful onsen town. Everything was excellent but the hosts were exceptional. Communication in English was easy, everyone was so warm and helpful. If I could give 11/10, I would. I highly recommend Kazeto to all travellers, but particularly to foreigners.

Fantastic location. The futons were comfortable and the room was perfect for 4 people. Stairs are quite steep but it didn’t bother us, although it might be difficult for elderly or people with mobility issues. We loved our stay at Watowa and we would love to e to stay again when we’re next in Yunotsu.

Excellent staff, location and accomodation. We chose to upgrade into family accomodation which had us in a suite of authetic Japanese rooms surrounded by Japanese antiques! We were lucky enough to enjoy local acitivities and cuisine as suggested by our host.
