Wonderful 3 night stay in this beautiful area. Akan Mashu National Park is fabulous. Facility older, futon beds, inside and outside onsen and the most delicious food. Staff very attentive and eager to please. Our favourite place of 6 in Japan.

Location great for those without a car - 5 minutes walk from the Senmo line station and good walking and cycling nearby. The hosts are helpful - they collected us from the station and took us back there for our early morning departure. They provided a (paid) taxi service so we could do the Mt Mashu hike and found bike hire for us. Meals are good and copious, and very social.
