The owner was really nice and helpful. He introduced all the facilities and provided useful guidance (e.g, local restaurants, visiting sites, spring water etc.) The shower room was pretty clean. Public area was nice and comfy. I really enjoyed the stay at the place and felt comfortable. Definitely would like to stay at this place next time :)

The hosts were amazing! They were really helpful and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The home was unique as it was previously a cafe and it was sparkling clean and very comfortable. Lovely children's books and magazines.

This was the best hostel I stayed at during my trip in Japan! The rooms are great, beds are clean and spacious and the bathroom facilities are clean. The social area downstairs was wonderful, I met a lot of people without expecting to and ended up travelling with a few of them! The staff are absolutely lovely, they really go above and beyond to make you comfortable and to have a chat with you whenever they can. Location was great! Central in Matsumoto and a quick 5-10 minute walk to the train station

Everything. Such an amazing place to stay. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable and staff are so so helpful - they recommended us hikes and helped with everything we needed. All the shared spaces are fantastic. The fires were always going and there were food and drinks available to purchase. The onsens are a highlight - we had such a beautiful time relaxing at Raicho inn. Couldn’t recommend coming here enough as a way to get out of the city and into nature. We will definitely be back.

Clean & spacious apartment, comfortable & very pretty. Host is friendly, responsive over WhatsApp, checks in to make sure we're ok, and is most happy to offer recommendations :) Location is near Matsumoto station, plenty of food options around especially if you're willing to walk. Matsumoto is a very quaint and pretty town, lovely place to walk around as well. Easy to travel to Kamikochi as well.

Extremely friendly and helpful host family! They gave so many great recommendations for the area. The property was spotless, and the onsen was available to book for private use for 30mins, which was great. Free use of bikes and umbrellas was much appreciated during our stay. Free parking on site also, which was hard to find in the area at other accommodations.

This is a very convenient property for car users because it is next to the expressway IC and provides free parking. The hotel also has a good breakfast spread and some good restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel.

The house is small but very cute with all amenities available. Only one shower for men and one for women but since there are not many rooms, it wasn’t a problem. Several toilets. Cute little terrace in our room as well. The host was very nice and accommodating. Free parking.

Staff were simply excellent - welcoming and professional. The hotel itself was much nicer than I expected, our room was lovely and the location was brilliant. Car park attendants were very friendly and helpful and it was wonderful to have access to parking in the centre of the city. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything, was the best experience staying at this hotel. The vibe is everything , clean , Lawson shop near to the hotel , also the parking lot , and the manga library in the reception was amazing
