I liked everything! The location, only 2 minutes from the station, the house itself, the tatami bedroom, the thoughtfulness of the owner! She was very kind and very helpful to me, thank you very much! I highly recommend this house if you stay in Tokamachi.

Amazingly charming historical house, maintained by owner with lots of love for every tiny detail. It was a place I’ve never been but I felt melancholic, absolutely a fantastic place to stay. Pity that we spent only for 14 hours in the house.

Very modern and new building. The staff is very friendly and accommodated an early check-in (handover of the keys) without hesitation because we would be gone for the whole day to watch the fireworks in Nagaoka.

Amasing place with gentle owners, nice and cute japanese vintage style, bright rooms with yukatas, beautiful onsen space with clear hot water, near the nature with excellent connection with City Center by bus or walking, big 7/11 convenient store near. The owner was the kindest person I have ever met. We went to this hotel with a small group of friends as we were participating in a spartan race taking place in the vicinity. The owner offered to give us a free shuttle service to go from the Echigo yuzawa station to the hotel upon arrival (for both groups that arrived at a different time), as well as from the hotel to the spartan race location and back the next day. He also allowed us to come back to the hotel to have a shower after the race, after our check-out time and free of charge. He finally also gave a ride to the station again. This was a life saver given the state we were in after the race. This is probably the best service I've ever seen in my life. The room was a nice Japanese style room for 3 people, with shared bathrooms for the floor, but there are enough stalls that this is absolutely not a problem. All in all, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a cozy little room and just to meet the amazing person the owner is.
