This place was beautiful, it felt unreal. The room was beautiful and it felt so traditional. You even have to walk through a shrine to get there it was so magical. The hosts were absolutely lovely and recommended nice places to go out and eat. Would come back to stay here again!!

This place exceeded our expectations! Everything was provided. We're so glad for the washer/dryer machine. The cycle is long but worth it since your clothes come our clean AND dry. The kitchen is also well equipped, and I highly recommend visitors to take advantage of it since there's so much fresh produce in Kumamoto. I managed to make some jam out of Kumamoto strawberries to bring back and it was easily one of our most memorable souvenirs!! There's also a 7-11 beside the residence for you to grab some essentials.

Everything. Check-in was straightforward with clear instructions provided. House was sparkling clean. Futons, mattresses, and linen were all very comfortable. The location was great, in a quiet neighbourhood, yet only 10 mins drive to CBD.

The instructions for use were very clearly stated, so it was easy settling into the house that was spacious and situated in a very peaceful residential area. The owner who welcomed us was very friendly, and even though he didn't speak English, we managed to communicate. With the help of a translator, he explained everything about the room and gave us some tips and local information. The room was huge and traditionally furnished. Our child was fascinated by all the details. An incredible experience. The bathroom we were assigned was very clean and spacious. It was also great that there was a parking lot where we could leave our car.
