Our stay at Ahu Bay was nothing short of exceptional. The property itself is breathtaking, set between two bays with panoramic ocean views that create the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and immaculately maintained, blending comfort with understated luxury. Dining at Ahu Bay was a highlight of the entire experience. The seafood, in particular, was outstanding — fresh, carefully prepared, and always cooked to perfection. The menu offers a thoughtful mix of local flavours and international favourites, each dish presented with genuine care and creativity. Every meal felt memorable. What truly sets Ahu Bay apart, however, is the quality of its staff. From the front desk to the restaurant and beyond, every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay feel special. Their professionalism and hospitality elevated the experience far beyond expectation. A heartfelt thank you to Abhishek for his exceptional hospitality and to the entire team for ensuring that our time at Ahu Bay was so memorable. We look forward to returning and could not recommend it more highly.

We had amazing stay in this beautiful room! Villa is very cozy and comfortable. Also you can use clean and big kitchen with fridge, toaster and microwave. Most of all i liked the manager and owner Silva, he answered on all our questions and helped us a lot, also we was really happy with local food and especially breakfasts. I highly recommend this villa to everyone, quite cheap comfortable and cozy place ❤️

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with all the essentials I needed—comfortable bed, fresh linens, and good air conditioning. What really stood out was the staff. They were polite, welcoming, and always ready to help with directions and local recommendations. The location was also very convenient. For the price I paid, the value was outstanding. I felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout my stay. - Nice room with AC - Hot water (not so common in Sri Lanka) - Located next to the sea, two beautiful beaches close by (sunbeds provided) - One beach is a turtle nesting side - we were lucky and saw a turtle coming to the shore in the evening - Village is quiet with not many tourists - Property has a restaurant, they prepared us dinner on the beach for no additional price - Nice breakfast - Turtle sanctuary near by (we recommend Galbokka Sea Turtle Conservation where you can pet baby turtles) - Extremely lovely manager with a good sense of humour who did everything to make us feel welcome. Would definitely come back.

We loved the Villa 826 Ahungalla. The room was very clean and had a comfortable bed. Had a amazing bathroom with hot water and great shower. Great location, few minutes from the beach. It is very long and so beautiful. Owner was very kindly, friendly and helpful with everything. Breakfast also very delicious and had a very tasty sri lankan items and homemade by family. Highly recommended!

Greeted on arrival and let in to room. Welcome drink and cold towel was lovely. Staff at Villa Nilnara are amazinbgh. Super helpful. Breakfast was amazing. All cooked fresh on the premises. Room was very comfortable. plenty of space. There was a weird entrance area shared by the room above and they wanted to use our terrace area for coming in and out which was odd. So we had a word and they got funny about it. we weren't using their balcony upstairs!! Close to the beach. easy to get an uber and get around to Galle, Bentotam Balapitiya. Great partying in Haikkaduwa for new years. Big shout to Ranga who was super helpful throughout our holiday. Really made a huge difference.

Beautiful cabins, friendly staff and wonderful location. This is the best place in the area so don't bother looking anywhere else. Food was excellent and they accommodated our vegan diet very well.

We have not stayed before but We found out that this hotel changed ownership in December 2024. So ignore any previous reviews. It is clearly run by professionals now and they have done extensive refurbishment. It is truly beautiful and spotlessly clean. It had a Superb beach location, lovely swimming pool. Double aspect infinity pool. Attentive staff. Hotel located on a little peninsula with lots of pretty areas to sit. Sunsets superb. Can walk along beaches to other hotels in Ahungalle otherwise you really need a tuk tuk which the staff will always get for you. ( and are cheap) we visited a huge reclining Buddha Temple whilst staying here. A must do ! Internet OK. Fridge in room. Tea and coffee making facilities in room. Good supply tea and coffee and 2 waters daily. It was a lovely stay.
