The host was very attentive and caring, couldn’t do any more for us! The room is one of the biggest we have stayed in in our Sri Lanka trip. Lovely outside seating where the host served us a delicious breakfast. Only a 5 minutes tuk tuk ride from the main Dambulla bus stand.

This the best stay which you can choose in Dambulla city! The hotel is located in a walk distance from the main road between the rice fields. You will have peace and nature around you. The rooms are great and clean with all necessarcy equipment (hair dryer, hot water, towels etc.). The staff is excelent and really helpful - they will organize everything you need. It’s worth to mention about their restaurant- big portions, delicious food and great prices. If you planning to visit Sigirya/Polonnaruwa - again ask the host. They know the really nice guy with tuk tuk who transport you, show you hidden spots and tell a lot about the neighborhod. As always in a really good price.

Our stay was wonderful! The place was very welcoming, and the hosts were absolutely amazing—kind, attentive, and helpful. The location was perfect, especially since we were quite exhausted from our journey. Being close to our planned attractions made everything so much easier. The breakfast, though simple, was simply appetizing. The accommodation is in pristine condition and the attention to detail is perfect. The accommodation is built with the guests in mind. The host family is most welcoming and ever-ready to make the guest's stay comfortable. The two children are a pleasure to converse with and they are a fountain of knowledge. The owner, Ruwan, is most helpful and prepared to take one to town or to local places of interest. Even if one wants to visit Sigiriya or any other destination in the Dambulla re3, The Green Jungle is the ideal place to stay. The Cave Temple which is near The Green Jungle, is an experience in itself, either to view6a sunrise or a sunset. The property is maintained immaculately and one can rest comfortably on the veranda or in the garden. The local buses (cheap and easy to use) stop close to the property. All in all, the family of husband and wife and two children, together with the maternal grandparents are ever-smiling and obliging. The grandmother will be prepared to cook you some lunch or dinner as required.

The place was really nice and clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable ones on our whole trip. The place is a little outside of the city but we enjoyed the quiet and relaxed atmosphere and we could walk to the cave temple. But what made the stay special were our lovely hosts! They made sure we were always comfortable, helped us arranging a safari and our next stay. We even spent one evening together on the balcony talking for hours. It was great talking to locals and getting a chance to ask all of our questions that came up during our time in Sri Lanka. Thank you very much!

We had an amazing 3 day stay with Nimal and his family. He took care of everything, drove us around Dambulla and neighboring cities and waited for us while we were exploring. This property is in a nice spot, walking distance to the main strip but far enough back to not hear traffic or mosque noise. Breakfast was traditional and lovely. The view from the room was nice. There was a verandah with chairs to sit in to relax. The shower is great and there is a nice view through the window. They offer parking outside reception. The room is spacious. If they were able to improve some of the items I’ve mentioned below this would be a great hotel.
