I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly memorable holiday experience. Thank you for everything! We've found a hidden gem! I'm so excited to share my experiences about the coconut camp The accommodation was so clean and modern. As well as the super cool glamping tent, there was a lovely little terrace where you could chill. The owner was so friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The breakfast and dinner were simply mouth-watering! We also booked a safari through the accommodation, which was an absolute dream!

Everything at Amba Kola was exceptional - especially the people. Louise, Janik, and Janik’s whole family are the loveliest people you will meet. The food is fantastic - everything is locally sourced and prepared with the finest spices and lots of love (Janik’s mom is an award-winning cook by the way). At Amba Kola the hosts will go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. They took us around in their safari jeep to see the elephants and wildlife and we even went swimming in the canal! The room (and the whole property) are lovely with so many personal touches to it. Louise is an artist and her art is present all over the place! Also, the outdoor bathroom is unique. I showered in the dark under the stars - an experience like no other. All I can say is: Come to Amba Kola and see for yourself. These people deeply care for what they do and it shows in every aspect. You won’t be disappointed!

Magical place. The host, Sami, does his utmost best to take care of you. The included activities are really nice. We could feel that they love what they do. Also the food prepared by Sami was delicious. A really magical place in the middle of nature. A must go if you wanna stay near Udawalawe.

Buddika and his family were really friendly and nice, and all the arrangements and food were top notch! The resort is situated just next to the Udawalawe national park gates, so going to a safari was super easy. You can get a personalized trips and the quality/price ratio is very good. My husband had his birthday while we were staying there, and the family organized a birthday cake and a gift for him. This was really nice and made us very happy. :)
