I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cape House, and it was a truly fantastic experience. The service was exceptional, and our stay was nothing short of perfect. A special mention must go to the manager, Eranda. He is one of the kindest and most inventive managers I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. His attention to detail and genuine care for guests made our stay incredibly enjoyable. He was especially wonderful with my son, making him feel welcome and special throughout our visit. I highly recommend the Cape House to anyone looking for a remarkable place to stay. The combination of outstanding service, comfortable accommodations, and Eranda’s exceptional management truly sets this place apart. Amazingly beautiful panoramic views over the mountains from the bed, the balcony, and even the hallway (we were on the second floor). The guesthouse is located in a peaceful and relaxing environment, in the middle of pretty tea fields. The room and the bed are very comfortable, as well as the pillows and bedsheets. The shower is nice and hot. Fast wifi. The owners are so kind! They welcomed us with a whole pot of tea, and they serve a lovely breakfast and dinner. We loved our it so much here that we extended our stay.

I had a great stay at Adisham Village Home. The views from the rooms are stunning, with a beautiful mountain backdrop. The property is very clean and well maintained. The room had a kettle and hot water, which made the stay even more comfortable. There is also a washing machine available for guests to use free of charge, a kitchen with utensils, and a sitting room with games and activities that guests can share and enjoy. It is a great location for those who want to do the Pekoe Trail. The railway station is not far and can be reached easily by walking or by bus in about five minutes. Mr. Sameera, the host, was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Haputale.

The owner Kalai is so lovely and helpful. The place is really clean and there is a kettle with free tea and water provided. It’s a really nice view from the property and just a short walk to a different viewpoints, one in particular about 1km from the property was great for sunrise! If you enjoy hiking, you can join sections of the pekoe trail from here and there is a nice restaurant a short walk away which has a good selection and is reasonably priced. Very relaxing! What a view. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the valley was amazing. Our 2 huge beds were comfy and facilities great. The family were english speaking and very helpful. Easy walking distance to the lovely village. Parking for tuktuk no problem.
