So many things to love about this place! Our family of four (2 kids; 5yo and 3yo) stayed for 10 days in the family room (with 2 big beds) and we had the most amazing time. The location is second to none - just a few minutes walk to the beach and a few minutes further to all the best cafes and restaurants. Nadeeka and her husband are incredibly kind and were wonderful hosts, always ready to help with anything we needed. They helped us with surfboard rental, tuk tuk rental, airport transfers...even little things like letting us dry our towels on the main washing lines and showing us local shortcuts. The room was much bigger than we expected, and super comfortable. We barely used the AC and although the beds are fitted with mosquito nets, we barely needed to use them which was a pleasant surprise. There are mosquitos and other creepy crawlies outside though. We also loved the semi-outdoor bathroom and having a small kitchen attached to the room just made life easier (the cafe was not opened yet while we were there). Overall we loved our stay at Jungle Escape and will definitely be back!

We were meant to be at Wilson’s place for 3 days and ended up staying 7. Loved Hiriketiya and staying at Wilson’s was so nice. It’s close enough to the town center but far enough that you only hear the sound of the waves (it’s like 10 mins walk). The rooms are nice and the place is kinda new so all furniture is in perfect condition. There is a little garden to chill out which tends to have shadow so a perfect area to spend the time. There is a place with pool like 4 mins walking where if you buy food or drink you can chill out in the pool, so nice addition to the area and a great plan to do from Wilson’s (Belika). Rumesh the owner of Wilson place is so nice and accommodating, you can also do laundry there if you need for a low fare. He arranged his brother to drive us to Matara for also lower fare than what we got quoted in town. Overall nice place nice owner modern furniture. Totally recommended.

Staff were amazing, able to offer a lot of help with hiring scooters and getting tuktuks. Breakfast was huge so come hungry. The hotel is very clean and very bright. Shower facilities and room facilities were amazing.

Very nice breakfast with nice fruit and good coffee. Excellent location between two great beaches. The Villa is nicer in real life than on the pirctures. Enjoyed yoga in the morning. You could even use their surf boards for free. Very nice staff that helped with arrranging trips and everything else. Would highly recommend to stay here. Pool is small but nice. Did not use it that much.

The places is very close to the beach so you can literally pick the surf board, and walk towards it.The breakfast - Brunch concept is amazing. The Yoga sessions are included in the rooms stay and is a great workout post surfing. The staff are very courteous and warm. They are available even post working hours if there's any help required. Loved it here! Beautifully designed modern rooms (apparently only refurbished a month ago), shared kitchenette space with fridge if you wanted to make your own food and drink, lovely outdoor space, good quality facilities, nice quiet location (we have been woken up staying on loud roads in Sri Lanka, this place however was tranquil) but still close enough to the beach, restaurants etc. Pubudu and his family were so welcoming and went above and beyond for us. Nice brekky too
