The room was neat and bathroom clean enough. The caretaker Pereira was extremely helpful. There is no breakfast or food service, plates and cutlery are available. The family room was spacious, a double bed in 1 room and a single bed in the other smaller portion. Quiet and good for sleep.

The room size was fine, but it didn’t have a pleasant smell. There was no kettle, no proper TV channels, and no telephone. Although the staff were very friendly, no one offered me Wi-Fi. The washroom wasn’t clean, and there were no towels. If these facilities were provided, the stay would have been much better.

We loved our stay. It felt like a little treat for us as we have been booking cheaper accomodation. It was right by the lake which was perfect and the breakfast was amazing! Bed was comfortable and we commented that the room and bathroom were very clean. Staff were helpful especially with carrying our bags up the stairs and steep drive!

OMG the rooms are unreal. We got upgraded to the new suites in the new aisle and they're unreal. By far the best rooms we've had in Sri Lanka. They're totally stunning. They also have beautiful views. Super highly recommended!

If you want to be outside the city center in a nice quiet garden, then this is the place to be. Owner Udaya helps you were he can. Such a nice man! Unfortunately I only got to stay 1 night because it was sold out the next day. Otherwise I would have stayed longer for sure! He made sure I got on a good bus to Dambulla with a free transfer! Also gave me some delicious fruit. The terrace was so nice to sit and relax. If I ever come back to Kandy I will stay here again. Women's dorm is very spacious!

First of all we liked the amazing view, doesnt matter if you are on the balcony, look out of the windows of your room or from the 360 Grad view roof top terrace, you will have a amazing view everywhere. You can see the mountains, the city, diffrent temples and the beautiful nature. Second thing we liked very much, was the food, for fair prices. So we had a high quality dinner and large portions on the roof top, cocked by the host. We liked it so much, so my girlfriend tooked a cocking lesson the next day by the host. She enjoyed it a lot. Specially the host is very friendly, makes you feeling like you are at home and helped us with everything we needed. He is happy if his guest are happy. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Very nice house with beautiful little garden. The room is furnished with great taste, the garden is full of flowers. The family is super nice and friendly, they treated my daughter as their own. They also organize cooking classes, which I absolutely recommend: it is taking place in an authentic kitchen with traditional utensilies, and is the owner's mom who teaches you about spices, local vegetables, and how to cook some very tasty Sri Lankan meal. She is great! Breakfast is an amazing selection of local dishes, and it's plenty. Our host was also very nice, ready to help with anything, explaining about culture and what to see in Kandy. He helped with our laundry, organized for us tuktuk to the citiy, and took us to the train station when we were leaving. The whole family was very nice and attentive to our every need. The location is outside of Kandy, a bit far from the center, but because of this it is very quiet, and it's surrounded by nature. I highly recommend it! Even if you don't stay here, try the cooking class!
