Absolutely loved staying here. The beach was super close , short walk to peanut farm surf break . Very easy going indoor outdoor flow . Loved being closed to nature. Nilana was an absolute legend and very helpful!

Comfortable hut directly at the beach and in walking distance to Crocodile Rock and Elephant Rock. We were there with our tuktuk and it was only a short drive to the center. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

A hidden gem! My husband and me loved this place. The host is very welcoming and will help with anything. We've been there for a whole month and couldn't ask for more: fully equipped kitchen, sleeping room with air con, an own backyard with lots of palm trees, beautiful sunrises and a big deck upstairs. The house is actually at the beach, so you can watch the ocean anytime. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place.

The house is very nice, very minimal but has everything! The room was super comfortable and clean! The AC was top (in Arugam bay it can be difficult fine a room with AC). We loved that in the kitchen there is the big bottle of water with the dispenser so you can refill the water bottle! Julia and Loco were amazing hosts! Thanks guys!!

We spent an entire month at this beautiful villa in Arugam Bay, and it truly felt like home from day one. The villa was perfect for our needs (big bedrooms, AC, wifi, kitchen well equipped…). The garden is not fully finished (in progress) but we definitely enjoyed the outside shower. But what really made our stay unforgettable was the host. From the very first message until the day we left, he was incredibly attentive, always checking in to make sure everything was perfect without being intrusive. His kindness, availability, and genuine care made all the difference — we couldn’t have asked for a better welcome. The location is ideal too: just close enough to the center of Arugam Bay to walk to the shops, cafes, and restaurants, but far enough to enjoy total peace and quiet. The beach is only a few minutes away — perfect for an early morning swim or surf session. We honestly couldn’t recommend this place more. Thank you again for making our stay so special — we will definitely be back one day! 🌴

Wow. The location of this place is very remote and it takes a while to get there via a very bumpy road but the place is absolutely worth it. The views are stunning and you can literally watch elephants and birds in the distance from your bed. Everything was extremely clean and although I have to admit I was sceptical when I first saw the shower, it happened to be one of the most fantastic showers I have had in Sri Lanka. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony is really convenient if you want to chill and watch sunset or sunrise. The room does get quite hot during the day but you have a fan that worked ok for us. The hosts are so kind and helpful. They served us a nice dinner and breakfast that we had while looking over the lake. In the morning they also gave us a small tour in the jungle and showed us some leopard footprints. We only stayed for a night as it was quite unplanned but definitely worth driving there for the experience!
