The rooms were beautiful, we were given an upgrade to a room with a view of both the water fall and the reservoir. Absolutely breathtaking and great to watch sunset! The food was some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, and the hotel is so peaceful. It’s walking distance to Ramboda Falls and a short TukTuk ride to tea plantations. Highly recommend staying here!

If we could rate Cabin 7000ft higher than 10/10, we absolutely would! This place is an experience in itself. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed, and the level of care and service was outstanding. The location is simply breathtaking. Perched above Sri Lanka’s highest village, the views stretch endlessly over rolling farmland, where highland vegetables grow in neat rows, and behind the cabin lies a dense forest, home to local wildlife. Watching the landscape change with the light was magical. The cabin itself is a dream—spacious, spotless, beautifully designed, and instantly inviting. You arrive, take a deep breath, and feel at home. Everything is well-maintained, and you can tell that a lot of thought has gone into every detail. What really stood out was the hospitality. Not only were we looked after with great care, but even our guide/driver was well accommodated. The owner was always there with a smile, ready to help, even suggesting a beautiful hiking route and making sure we were set up for a great walk. A personal highlight: my partner’s birthday fell during our stay, and to our surprise, she was gifted a beautiful birthday cake—a gesture that truly made the day extra special. We also dined at the cabin, and it was one of the best meals we had in Sri Lanka. The owner and his wife clearly have a passion for good food, and it was a pleasure to taste it. Communication was seamless from the start, with quick and easy WhatsApp contact, making everything effortless. Cabin 7000ft is more than just a stay—it’s a special place that lingers in your memory long after you leave. Highly, highly recommended!

Everything! The location, the property and the view are amazing. The owner and the staff are both very polite, helpful and friendly. They let us take a closer look to their bee hives when we requested it and did everything to get to us something that we forgot at our room on our next destination. Wonderful big and cozy rooms. Perfect light concept and high class furniture. Operating since 2017, so all still looks very fresh and inviting in English country style design with modern touch. In short it was perfect. Lakshman and his team were so friendly and give high class service. Exceeded all expectations. 12 points out of 10. Dinner and breakfast were top. Opening the windows for fresh air in the morning - super, after the heat in the cultural triangle. For once you appreciate the heater instead of aircon. Tea plantations walk behind the house is unforgettable. Oliphant is a place you don’t want to leave. Two nights stay recommended. Very quiet location in a gardenstyle setting. 7 rooms.

-there are 3 houses in colonial english style overlooking Mount Pedro, sunrise and Nuwara Eliya. - very nice interior design with all facilities - very clean; confortable bed - they even put beautiful natural flowers in a vase, and lots of printed info about the area, Budhism, tea plantation. - staff helpful and friendly, they even offered us a gift when we checked out. - breakfast was also good - such a nice garden with flowers and birds - because at night it may be cooler they offer heating device, which was actually great.

Cottage San Francesco is a place that you can't miss in Nuwara Elyia! We loved the place, location and room it was very clean, moreover the host gave us a better a room with a wonderful view without adding any cost, where we enjoyed a breath breaking sunset! The breakfast was so delicious while enjoying a beautiful view on the hills, honestly the best food we had in sri lanka! Services as tuk tuk or driver are provided easily from the host. The tuk tuk guy helped us discovering hills tea factory and he was also very nice to go around with a local one! This is the perfect place where spend some nights to take a rest and relax! Don't miss this place!!
