Incredible! This place is a hidden gem in Sigiriya, we wanted to stay longer but it was fully booked. The room had everything you need, very clean and comfortable. The swimming pool is amazing and the view is fantastic. Don’t miss your chance, it’s a rare find.

Great pool area with sun loungers, perfect for relaxing. Ruwan was fantastic at organising all our transport and events, can highly recommend the elephant safari and going for dinner at his brothers restaurant. Very helpful staff and great breakfast!

Breakfast was excellent: a lot of different dishes, tea, coffee, milk and lemonade. For one person it’s more than enough. The staff is very friendly, the owner helps every time for each guests with transportation, excursions and transport to the dinner on dark time - because it’s dangerous to be on a road after 11 pm due to elephant attack. I really like this place - the location is very close to lion rock, you can get it by step. the room has soap, shampoo, mini bar for extra money - tea, coffee and sugar. the light in room is good, conditioner working, mosquitoes blanket is present. The hotel’s garden is very beautiful. I spent nice time in the Rate Sigiri Rock Side Home Stay!!!

The place is exceptional! There is a very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. It is so quiet and peaceful that even when it rains it is very pleasant. The owners are very friendly and helpful, they helped us with transportation and hinted at where to eat. They serve delicious breakfasts. Beautiful rooms, new furnishings inside. The owner Dinusha is very kind, the staff is honest and good, Sunshine Villa really made Sigiriya a beautiful destination. They picked us up at Colombo airport and picked us up safely. In the evening they took us to see elephants at Minneriya National Park. They also had a night safari planned to see the night beauty of Sigiriya. Luckily for us, Sunshine Villa was the place to stay. We had a great experience. I recommend it 100%.

Great brand new hotel with spacious rooms and a nice pool to cool down after climbing up the rocks. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, they gave us advice on where to eat/drink and arranged transportation at a very reasonable price. The breakfast is excellent, you cannot eat it all. We were served fruits and freshly squeezed fruit juice, then omelette and next pancakes/local specialty halaba. Also, if you go up the road leading to the hotel you’ll see the fields and a nice lake, perfect location when you’d like to get a break from the tourist crowds
