Very clean place very beautiful garden the staff was very sweet and kind i got a really nice breakfast with great fresh fruits i also had dinner here rice and curry was especially good also talalla beach is gorgeous within 5 to 7 minute walk!!! Totally recommend this place. I wold definitely come Back

The most lovely retreat on a lesser known but equally beautiful beach. It felt like a home away from home with tea, coffee, water, fruit available in the day and lovely breakfasts in the mornings. Near to a couple of restaurants and a bakery a small walk away. Great pool and loungers on the beach and a stunning sea view. The host and his team were very friendly and accommodating of any queries we had. We changed our booking to only one night but definitely wished we could have stayed longer.

The room was super nice and clean. Just a few steps from the very nice und not busy beach. Bunty and his team are very kind people and help you with everything they can. They arranged us a scooter and surf lessons during our stay in Tallala. We really enjoyed it!!

The place was good, there were fans, mosquito nets, bathroom with shower. You are able to cook, there is a gas stove, fridge available - with small but functional freezer. The hosts were absolutely amazing, they are an older couple. When we saw a scorpion, they took it away, which was incredible. They were very kind, bought us breakfast the first morning, coconut... They took us with tuktuk to the bus station. They have a cat that doesn't like being petted, but also a 2 year old dalmatian, very energetic and loving dog. Overall it was an incredible stay, I can only recommend.

I stayed here for 1 nights and it was a blast. The location is really good it is located on a really small street so it is really quiet and you can chill in the terrace watching the garden and relax. You can find a supermarket next door and a beautiful beach (thallala beach) in 2 minutes walking. The room is super clean and Nelca makes the best vegetable curry! Great location Everything! The bed, the comfort, the kindness of the owner The host received us with coffee and biscuits. He was friendly. It was one of the most clean rooms slept in during our trip to Sri Lanka- on a night budget. wifi is speed is very good . very beautiful place and very nice beach of srilanka

The fantastic Madame Mani is the owner and manager of Gurugedare Heritage. She welcomes all guests with open arms and you feel welcome and home immediately. International or domestic breakfast is offered. Lunch and dinner are Sri Lankan dishes with local ingredients. In the vicinity there is Tallalla Beach approx. 1km. 7km away there is the fantastic Hiriketiya Beach a paradise for surfers. (15min by tuk-tuk) Thank you Madame Mani for a fantastic stay. The host received us with coffee and biscuits. He was friendly, in a way that made me and my friend(both female) comfortable and at ease. It was one of the most clean rooms we've slept in during our trip to Sri Lanka- on a tight budget. It was right near the beach which is a gem still to be discovered. The breakfast was also nice, enough to fill us up. Overall a pretty good stay. Good parking for our tuktuk as well :)
