Our host was so kind and friendly, and an amazing chef! He made us a delicious vegetarian tagine, Moroccan salad and fruit for dinner after we arrived from a long drive from Fes. His wife's bread is also wonderful, served fresh and hot! The hotel is in a great location, easy to find, safe, clean and quiet with a rustic charm. Breakfast this morning was generous coffee and hot milk, fresh crepes with an assortment of butter, honey, jams and cheese. We were ready to hit the road to Marrakech and would definitely return to Hotel Azul.

Aziz and Hayat are amazing hosts, cooks and just simply awesome human beings. They, together with Zaid did everything to ensure our stay was as comfortable as it can be - always helpful and caring, providing any information or assistance needed. My partner got sick and they were super sweet and caring. We felt at home and part of the family, which contributed to an awesome stay! Another point that we loved - the food. Being first time in Morocco, naturally we wanted to try the local food, and we tried out a bunch of restaurants in different cities/towns. From our experience, the food we had in the Riad was hands down the richest in taste we've had so far, and very varied as well. After our stay there, we can definitely say we've enjoyed local Moroccan and Berber food. All in all- our stay in the area was just made richer and more memorable by our experience at this Riad - Will definitely come back, soon! P.s. there were always plenty of olives as appetisers, thanks Zaid for that :)

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and we must say, it was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, the owner was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. It was clear that he genuinely cared about the comfort and satisfaction of his guests. The food at this hotel was simply fabulous. The flavors were out of this world. I was blown away by the quality of the dishes on offer, we tried both dinner and the breakfast.

We were supposed to stay one night and we stayed two. Rashid was by far ower best host in our 12 days family trip to morroco. Rashid is master in the art of hosting people, trustful, joyful and authentic, he gave us good connections to a desert tour, the breakfast was amazing and the views from the breakfast area are amazing, 5 min from the gorges. Would definly recomend to all people o value a good human interaction.

It’s 10 min drive away from town towards the Todra Gorge, a beaten road brings you to little heaven. Perfect garden with secluded poor are, plenty of space to hang around, great rooms, the most delicious dinner and breakfast, perfect host. We only stayed 2 nights, unfortunately. Palmerai Guest house is an oasis within an oasis. Incredibly friendly and hard working crew. Absolutely spectacular architectural specimen for the region. Incredible vibe in the hotel with absolutely stunning views of the area, instant access to the trails in the otherworldly oasis, and the amazing soul of Jack, the resident donkey who has his own room :-))) I can't thank the crew enough, including Nurdein who showed me around for a few days of mountain hiking and botanical walks on incredible guided tour and translated for me with Amazigh locals who did not know English or French. Rashid the owner is like an old friend after just a few days. I'll be back and so should you be!
