Tiger Wildlife Resort was my home for two weeks. Besides the beauty of the place, perfect for those who seek quiet surroundings, what was truly remarkable is the care I received as a guest here. I felt like a VIP, a princess even, as the owners, Gambir, and the rest of the team, went out of their way to make my stay absolutely perfect. I was given what I believe is the best room on the property, with a balcony facing the park, from which every morning I would see all sorts of animals: deers, rhinos, boars and countless birds (among which peacocks and black storks and openbills) The food here is absolutely excellent, always freshly made and very tasty. The chef is so sweet, always doing his best to satisfy my (many!) requests. The safaris and tours were also lovely experiences, as the parks in the area have lots to offer. I recommend taking the time to visit Tikauli and the 20k lake. I also enjoyed walking around the rural village and talking to a few locals who seem to adore foreigners. In general, I would imagine staying here about 5 days is enough to tick all the touristy stuff of the list... unless - like me - you're not in a rush about seeing this and that, maybe you work online and enjoy taking some time away from more mundane life.. then stay as long as your heart feels and discover how wholesome it is to become a Tiger Wildlife family member ! Incredible stay, Hari the host and guide is exceptional. I did a two day walking safari and saw loads of wildlife, it felt like an authentic jungle experience away from the over touristic areas. The food is great and the atmosphere around the Homestay is really nice. Would of loved to of stayed longer.

Such a beautiful home with the perfect balance of home like but still good facilities like a hotel. You get brought into the family and end up staying much longer than you originally thought you would , highly highly recommend and I will be returning in the future without a doubt. Good value for money and very cool walking safari, but honestly I could’ve just stayed at the house for a week. Great time

Our two nights at Sanctuary were an exceptional experience, the facilities are even better in person, staff are highly accommodating and the food is great with lots of options available. Our guide for the activities was knowledgeable and engaging, and we were even upgraded to a villa on arrival (which was enormous!) Also, transport to and from the hotel was easy to arrange at late notice if needed.

I didn‘t know what it means living together in a community but now I know it. I experienced the jungle safari with the jeep and an amazing, english speaking guide, doing some bicycling with the cycles of community members enjoying the sunset at the agriculture, meeting students on the way to school, doing some fishing and collecting snails in the river, eating local food and dancing with the women group. I also enjoyed drinking the clean and refreshing water and taking a shower at the chwadi while talking to the community. The friendly and helpful staff is preparing delicious food by using regional and fresh products.
