The heat pump was fantastic as we are from Northland and not used to the winter climate! Parking directly in front of the room, an outside light as opposed to the whole complex being lit up. Appreciated the table and chairs as we sat and ate takeaways in our room and the heated towel rail was working. Special mention to the shower dome, we have one at home and it works fabulous for keeping the heat in the shower.

Clean, homely, had everything that you could need. Private outlook over the garden and off street parking. Host was friendly and welcoming and had lots of information on the area for us.

Quiet location even if it is alongside a railway line. The spacious character house, a home away from home was recently renovated to a high standard with great furnishings. The beds were very comfortable with good quality linens. The kitchen was well equipped with everything. Coffee to grind, milk and fresh bread and condiments. Plenty of off street parking. The host/owner good to communicate with.

The Royal Hotel Featherston was so cute! We loved the vibes of the hotel and wish I'd stayed there longer to have time to relax in the clawfoot tub. They got us a dinner reservation in their restaurant when we arrived in the restaurant and we enjoyed their selection of local wine. The rooms were a bit chilly initially but they had a heating pad in the bed that more than made up for it and we got quite comfy and toasty! Lots of parking, not too much in town but a short drive to Martinborough!

Great location, 5 mins walk from cafés and shops. Comfy bed. Quiet. Good heat pump. Off street parking. Good shower.

Nicky was great and communicated well with us regarding arrival time and key collection. The whole process was seamless. it was a bonus having off street parking and the garden outlook was lovely.
