The hosts had put the heat pump on as soon as we booked ( booked quite late ) so the house was lovely and warm when we arrived and we also received a lovely welcome text. The lolly jar was fabulous and plunger coffee was very nice. Bed was extra snuggly and electric blankets were perfect. Also the heat transfer system was great so that the bedroom was heated via the heatpump in the lounge. Parking right outside the front door was great too.

The location, the cleanliness, the comfortable bed and the amenities were fantastic.. It was in a quiet area with great parking. It was a home away from home. We would definitely stay again. Couples Retreat exceeded our expectations.

A very comfortable place to stay with a lot of old world charm. Handy to town and parking was a Breeze. Nice walk in close proximity.

Rooms and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Staff were really friendly and so helpful. Lovely grounds. Good off street parking. An easy walk to Reefton's main street.
The building has real atmosphere and the displays on the history of the building are interesting.

The location is good with off street parking. The bed was comfy. Rooms are dated especially the bathroom but it's fine for a 1 night stay.
The food at the pub was really yum. We had the Venison Pie and the Roast pork special.

Quiet location, off street parking. Beautiful gardens with private access. The studio room is spacious with all the comforts of home. Central heating throughout the building made for a comfortable stay on a rainy cold winters day.

Awesome stay with all the comforts. Very comfy and high quality bed and bedding. Great to have the bath and the central heating kept all the rooms very warm. Styling was tasteful and on point. Water pressure outstanding. Also great to have off street parking. Walking distance to amenities and old pump station. Very impressed and will be back for sure.
