Fantastic experience hosted by gentle and passionate hosts. Saeed, his brother and team are exactly the kind of welcoming but not overbearing hosts you want. The tents were gorgeous, beds very comfy and food was brilliant. We loved the dune bashing and I especially loved the camel dawn ride.

It was ab amazing stay. We spent one night in Hamood‘s camp. The tents were clean and very authentic. Hamood was a great host, very friendly and with a good taste of humor. The food was great and the the nightly camel ride a unique experience. We would recommend this camp to our friends and family.

The camp is located about 25km inside the desert and you can get there either by organizing the transfer directly with the structure or by a self-drive ride having fun among the dunes. Once you arrive, Sadek and Farhad will make you feel at home immediately by welcoming you with dates and Omani coffee and tea. Once at the camp you have a wide choice of activities to do, such as sandboarding, a camel ride at sunset, taking your car and going even further into the desert ... Or simply relaxing on the dunes going into the desert just 5/10 minutes walk from the camp. For dinner a banquet, perfectly cooked by Sadek and Farhad, awaits you. And at the end the day a bonfire awaits you under the starry sky that you can enjoy in the full silence of the desert. The campsite hosts very few people, which will allow you to fully enjoy the experience, pampered in every way… In our case, was even more special because there were no other guests!😜 Thank you very much Sadek and Farhad for making our stay unique!💚

Stunning place! We (a group of 3 friends) spent 2 nights at the camp and had the best time. The location was perfect on top of a dune overlooking desert, the tents were beautifully decorated and warm, food was the best we had in Oman. There is no electricity, only small lanterns for light which made everything look cozy and added to the atmosphere. The facilities were very good, but no phone connection so be prepared for social media detox! Our host Salah was looking after us really well, couldn’t have asked for better host. We did a camel ride one evening which was super fun and you can also arrange dune driving. We can wholeheartedly recommend Salah’s camp if you want to experience Omani hospitality and nature.
