Loved the experience. Said certainly made the difference. He brings the personal touch to an otherwise quite fancy stay. He picked me up from the meeting point (15 omr) and took me for dune bashing for sunrise (25 omr). The dome itself is very luxurious (definitely something for couples), sparkling clean and comfy bed. The dinner (7 omr) was great and waaaay too much. The breakfast was also very tasty.

A beautiful camp in a beautiful location. If you're looking to go quad biking and other obnoxious activities this isn't the place for you. Abdullah and his team run an authentic camp oasis in the dunes, with delicious food and copious amounts of coffee and dates. The sunrise camel ride was fantastic and is a must do. The camp staff are the loveliest people you will meet in Oman and they also have the best sense of humour. If you're looking to experience the desert properly then this is the place for you.

We had an amazing experience staying here with Hamood in Wahiba Sands. Hamood is very well organised and the accommodation is beautiful, high up on the dunes so you can get brilliant views very easily. The drive in was fun in our hire 4WD so if you're competent driving a 4WD feel free to take your own one. The food was amazing, probably the best meal we had in Oman. If you're there on a Friday or Sunday ask Khalid to take you to the local dune racing!! Khalid was such a legend and took me to see the locals racing their crazy 4WDs up these enormous dunes, it was the highlight of my trip. If you're into cars it's absolutely wild, Khalid I can't thank you enough for the experience mate!

Our experience at Safari Glamping was really amazing. We tried a lot of delicious traditional food, rented quad bike from a nearby camp, which is owned by the same person, and he invited us for a dinner at this bigger camp, where we had the opportunity to speak with him about his life as a beduin. The host in our camp was really nice and helpful, prepared fire and a really good food for us and as we were lucky to be alone there, we had a chance to speak with him. The room was really clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We drove to the camp by our 4WD car and it was simple and without any problem. You just need to have your tires deflated beforehand. 100% recommended experience worth the money.

Most authentic camp, most authentic experience and nicest people on earth. They do everything, always making sure you are okay. They Even saved us by dropping us in Muscat because we had no car. The night was great, the tents are very comfortable and its away from the cluster where you have all the other camps so you really feel alone in the desert . Thank you so much

One of the closest stays to Wadi Bani Khalid - 30 to 40 min drive. Since we arrived here the previous night, we were able to reach Wadi Bani Khalid in time the next morning. Very Clean and spacious room. Good Parking space. The owner was also very helpful.

They sure got parking, and a nice garden. The place is next to the highway, so that was practical. Quick exit to Wadi Bani Khalid. Good food with quick service. Flexible owner, he can arrange tours, meals for groups, etc

All good, not much to say about nor amenities offered around, but If you don't have any other pretention than staying as close as possible to Wadi Bani Khalid for your next trip, then it's definitely your choice. Rooms, parking, cleanliness: all approved.
