Try to sit down with Ahmed, the host, for a cup and of gahwa in the evening and learn the history of Nizwa old town and local date varieties. Entrance to Al-Aqur wall is a few meters away. Our stay was very nice, it was very cool experience to sleep in such historic building. Our room had no windows which was part of the adventure. There is also amazing rooftop with 360 view where we watched sunset. Adnan Is very helpful and will answer all of your questions, we also needed help to park and he kindly came out to guide us the way.
