Just two minutes drive from Jabrin castle. Newly furnished room, everything is neat and tidy. There is a nice cafe on the first floor where we could have a decent breakfast and coffee to go, not to mention the friendly staff who helped a lot during check-in/out.

We were made so very welcome by the property owner, Aziz. Excellent communication prior to arriving and greeted upon our arrival. The garden house is an oasis of calm and perfectly appointed. A lovely garden area to relax in with a small pool. The interior is very well and comfortably furnished. This property met and exceeded our expectations.

Perfect accomodation in the heart of Bahla with the most helpful and kind host we have met in Oman. The property is in a really convenient location in Al Hamra, close to everything you need, yet tucked away in a peaceful spot that feels like an oasis. It’s a perfect base for visiting Jebel Shams and the nearby mud villages. The owner and staff are incredibly helpful and kind. Breakfast and dinner—served on the terrace or out in the field—are both delicious. Hamza, the owner, is a fantastic host, plain and simple.

This is not just some accommodation, this is home. Emina made us feel very welcomed at her house and along with the unique architecture, the surroundings and also other lovely guests, this was an experience we will never forget. Wish we had more time to spend here. We spent one night on our way from Muscat to Jebel Shams. The rooms are simple but clean, the bathroom was well equipped. Incredible views waited for us on the rooftop along with pet dogs making us company. I have to admit the breakfast was rather smaller/simpler but everybody has different taste, so it’s hard to please all. Hoping to come sometime again!

Incredible owner of that place :) He is very open, helpful with everything, and he is a super nice person to talk to. Here I understand and know omanian culture more and met really interesting people. Fun fact: 228Hostel is so far the only hostel in Oman :) Everything in the hostel works perfectly. There is a fridge, toaster, microwave, hot shower, laundry for additional fee, there are mosquito nets in the windows of each room, and even hairdryer in the ladie's room :) Also, there is a rooftop space for relaxation and views during sunsets and sunrises :)) WiFi works great! You can borrow a bicycle to see the village. I found here everything that I needed during my trip and more... :) I recommend this hostel for every traveler with open mind.
