Free tours by his car,he told me about history of Oman,Islamic etc. I met his sons ,they are cute(^^)Reasonable price. Clean rooms,no refrigerator ,but you can use the kitchen,hand soap,toilet paper available.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the newly opened Grand Hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked through the stunning lobby, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for my entire stay. Youssef, with his infectious enthusiasm, made me feel right at home with his friendly demeanor and attentive service. Kiecylen was equally impressive, always ready with a smile and eager to assist with any request. Her attention to detail and willingness to help made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself is a masterpiece, boasting elegant decor, luxurious amenities, and a fantastic restaurant that offers a delightful culinary experience. Excelent location, close to the souk and corniche. Beautiful small guesthouse with only 4 specious rooms. Very nice local design , clean and comfortable with small kitchen, living room separate to bedroom. Comfortable bed. There is cafe at the terrace. The breakfast is very tasty and I highly recommend it. We stayed 2 nights in 2 separate rooms as same room was not available, both rooms were beautiful. I can’t recommend this property more!

In the 80's in Time Magazine Al Bustan Palace published beautiful ad and since then I wanted to visit this place. During my recent first visit to Oman I knew that I must stay at Al Bustan Palace. This place is everything I Imagined long time ago in the 80's. It is a real Palace built for kings and princes of the Gulf states. Arabic themed buffet dinner was of the highest quality with amazing variety (tagine, shuwa, maqluba, shawerma, . . .). Frankincense scent in the lobby, fires in the garden during the evening, beautiful colors on the mountains during sunset and sunrise . . . We kindly received room upgrade and late check out. One of the few truly magical places in our world (like La Mamounia in Marrakech)

It is no exaggeration at all when I (and others on here) say this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at (and I’ve had the pleasure of staying at many lovely hotels around the world). Absolutely everything was perfect. Every single member of staff (a mix of Omanis and international staff from so many countries) was beyond efficient and so friendly. I felt they took even extra care of me as I was staying alone (Shukran!) and their care and attention to detail was second to none! I didn’t meet the manager Mr Karim but would like to thank and congratulate him on running such an exceptional hotel. Among the many wonderful staff who all work so hard, special mentions to Suresh who checked me in in the early hours, Renuka who cleaned my room so meticulously, Schola the restaurant hostess who was very informative and gave me the best table for the Christmas Day brunch! Khine also a restaurant hostess who was lovely to chat too on my final evening and so helpful too and Kolthum who checked me out, such a lovely lady. El-Mostafa in the restaurant, Khalid who picked me up at the airport (plus the driver who took me back there), the restaurant staff in all the restaurants, the wonderful chefs and the beach attendants. The Chedi’s design is amazing. Beautiful grounds (they even have peacocks!), so tranquil, so clean, many dining options and wonderfully designed rooms. I can see why it’s a Leading Hotel of the World and has so many awards and accolades. Thank you Chedi Muscat for an unforgettable Christmas holiday!

The property was super clean, all the staff in the hotel were really nice and friendly and helped us a lot during our stay in the hotel! I would like to give special praise to all the chefs, all the waiters, the receptionists, housekeeping and of course the ones working in the entertainment areas especially Ishaq! Every single person working in this hotel helped us to have the best vacation ever and we will for sure be coming back to this hotel againt in the near future!
