Superb location with a terrace overlooking the bay where we would see distant dolphins. HIghly recommend for families as the property is comfortable and has the extras you need like washing machine, larger drying rack, lots of pegs, extra quilts etc.! coffee machine. We had wetsuits so the drying room downstairs was perfect. The village itself has a lovely little harbour, superb free swimming pool (sea water) with great little burger bar, kids loved it. Within very easy reach of the main whale watching town Lajes. Walter the host was a very kind and attentive host who showed us down to the pool on arrival. Pico and this property have been wonderful !

This is the perfect place to stay! Enjoy silence, the well equipped house and very friendly hosts! Beautiful hiking trails are directly around the house and on the way there from Madalena we had a great roadtrip along the scenic road along the lakes to the east of Pico. That we could enjoy evening sun on the upper terrace didn't we expect, but was a wonderful surprise. Even better was just seeing the sunrise from the bedroom :)

A modern, lovingly designed house with great comfort. The kitchen is very well equipped. The view all the way to the sea is magnificent. The location is great and easily accessible by rental car, although a bit remote. Anyone seeking peace and quiet will be in good hands here. Check-in and check-out are very straightforward. We felt well looked after from booking to check-out.

This is the best accommodation that we have ever had! We were in the big appartment T2 and felt really like home, as it has all facilities you need. The kitchen is well equipped (we cooked a lot, as you get local fresh fish in Madalena for very good price). There are also barbecue facilities which we didn't use because it was rainy. You have an ocean view from every room and we really enjoyed those views, also watching the waves on a rainy day. We used the whirlpool too, which is shared by all the apartments. On most days, we were the only guests. The whirlpool has a sea view too, however, you cannot see much from there, as the cover is fogged up because of the steam. Stilm, the cover is good as it protects you from rain and wind. There are some cats outside coming and asking for food :) One day, we had a visit of lizards between the stones of one of the walls. Apparently, they were hiding from the rain (it was pouring outside). A washing machine and a dryer are available in the laundry room. All in all: you have everything you need there. And also, the apartment is just nice: very good design additionally to the views that you have.
