The hosts were prompt and accommodating from the very beginning. They also were able to recommend places to get a decent meal that we needed as well. The location is great with nice, clean environment and provides many amenities (sauna, swimming pool, gym, fully equipped kitchen and more). The beds were comfy and the room was spotless. We will definitely recommend and stay for longer next time.

Is hard to say what is not to like. From the check in to check out, everything went smoothly, as expected. Many thanks to the cleaners who attended my room more often than expected. The breakfast was diverse and with good quality items. I really enjoyed virsli and a good coffee. The restaurant on site is amazing and the service is always perfect. Great team!

The location is perfect, being situated inside the walls of the wonderful citadel, making restaurants, museums and sightseeings very easily accessible. The hosts have been very welcoming with their cheerful and light character. The place has an exceptionally nice story and an ambiance made perfect for historical discoveries. Their rooms are very tidy, offering generous space and the breakfast is delicious.

A recently renovated villa set in Alba Iulia, La Poarta Cetății features free bikes. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi.

Extremely kind and helpful host. You won't find such conditions and service anywhere else in Europe, not at this price. Indeed, the house is the best you can get for the money. Excellent location next to the Alba Iulia fortress, beautiful and comfortably furnished house, equipped with everything you need to make you feel at home. Very good heating. Yard with parking space. Five restaurants nearby with great service. We used the place as a starting point to visit the Turda Salt Mine, Sighisoara, Sibiu and Hunyadi Castle, it turned out to be a good decision. A full 10 is fully deserved. We wish health and success to the hosts and of course the two great guard dogs.
