Smålandsgarden is a stunning place, situated right at a lake and with a very calm atmosphere. The room is decorated in a simple Scandinavian way. There's no TV set which somehow adds to the tranquillity though. Breakfast and dinner were both good, too. Everything at a reasonable price by Swedish standards. Staff has been very friendly.

Very simple place, but in a beautiful location - by the lake, in the forest. We stayed with our family for a night in a cozy cabin with a great lake view. It was a perfect stay! Nothing to complain at all. Location was a 10/10, directly by the lake with lots of benches to sit there. The house is big and so well equipped. You can find everything you need there. A modern shared kitchen, a gym, a sauna, TV room, even a bathtub in a shared bathroom. The host was really friendly and funny. Comfy and clean rooms and delicious breakfast. Couldn’t ask for anything more, would highly recommend and come back any time.
