I have stayed in countless top hotels all around the world, including all the major luxury chains, and yet nothing compares to the unforgettable experience I had here. This place is something entirely different. It is not just a stay, it is an immersion into warmth, authenticity, and culinary excellence. Ulla is the heart and soul of this place. She is not only a gifted and inspired cook; honestly, her food is of true Michelin star quality but she also makes you feel genuinely cared for from the very first moment. Every dish is homemade, most ingredients come straight from her garden, and every bite reflects the love and thoughtfulness she puts into her cooking. Booking the dinner is an absolute must. I have never tasted anything like it. What makes this place so unique is its total authenticity. If you are looking for something truly special, something that stays with you long after you have left, this is where you want to be. The reviews speak for themselves, and rightly so. I honestly cannot understand how anyone could rate this experience anything less than excellent. Yes, you are surrounded by nature, in the middle of golden wheat fields. Complaining about a dead insect here would be like booking a beachfront hotel and then complaining about sand. This is real, beautiful countryside — and it is absolutely magical. I am incredibly picky and have very high standards. Yet here, everything was simply perfect. It is a stay unlike any other, and one I recommend from the bottom of my heart to anyone in search of something real, inspiring, and unforgettable.

The hotel is located close to one of the nicest beaches, among the treas. We were staying here for a night with a dog in one of the rooms in a building with a shared kitchen. Eventhough 4 rooms were sharing 1 kitchen, you couldn’t hear the neighbours because of a good soundproofing. Excellent place to stay with a dog, with a lot of green surfaces, close to a beautiful forest and a river delta. Breakfast in the main building had a lot of dairy-free options. Durig the day you can book a sauna with a jacuzzi, rest area and massage chairs.

The setting is amazing - beautiful views straight out to sea, with sand at your feet. The meadows surrounding the huts are lovely, and it felt like the perfect balance of nature and comfort. The huts are very sweet and the bed really comfortable. The toilets and showers and clean and practical. It was easy to get to - a 30 mins walk from the train station, or a bus from Halmstad. The staff were really helpful - they even lent us a couple of bikes so we could make the most of the lovely cycling paths around the area - we went to the brilliant Simstadion Brottet, a free open-air swimming pool just around the bay.

Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided by the host — everything was well-organized and perfectly prepared.
