We were lucky to contemplate peacefully walking deer under the windows - a real idyll! Very comfortable bed and nice bed linen. Quiet. What an experience to stay in such an amazing place with incredible gardens and surrounds. Our room was spacious with a sitting room at one end. The decor really made us feel we were back in a bygone era. It’s a very special place.
