Rai Phuchat gives a feeling of being surrounded by nature — peaceful, clean, with delicious food and excellent staff service. It has a swimming pool and is perfect for travelers who love staying close to nature.

Unbelievably cheap, absolutely best price we have found ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, and the value you get for your money? Wow. Everything is clean! Like actually clean! And so comfortable! There's wifi, and the internet is actually pretty good! I couldn't believe it. You get your own independent little cabin with a private bathroom, and you're in nature with peace and quiet. I would happily have stayed a month.  They also rent motorbikes in excellent condition, also for the cheapest price we have found in any country. You do need a motorbike here because the resort is in the middle of nowhere, but if you don't know how to drive too well, this is the perfect place to learn. All the roads around are excellently paved and mostly empty: there's almost no traffic at all. And the countryside is beautiful to just drive around and enjoy. The family that runs the place is super sweet.

Lovely Lanna style room overlooking the lake. The hosts were lovely and cooked us some great food. Beds were very comfortable and the area was very peaceful but within easy reaching distance of the town. The gifts as we left were a lovely gesture too...as were the hugs! 😃

We did stay for two nights at this clean and safe place. The hosts are very attentive, service minded and helpful. Our convenient room had all amenities. An excellent breakfast is served in the beautiful garden overlooking paddy fields. The location close to the airport is very convenient to explore Chiang Rai and its surrounding attractions. There is a spacious living room as well as a big shady garden to relax. The kitchen with a big refrigerator can be used. A 7/11 convenience store is within walking distance.

Everything, the staff is exceptional, property very clean and tidy. Breakfast superb and delicious. The owners where on site and they really made a effort for their guests. The interior design of the hotel was personal and tasteful.

Staying at this tented resort has been one of the most amazing experiences we’ve ever had. Everything here is incredibly well thought out, from the stunningly designed accommodations to the impeccable hospitality. The beds are extremely comfortable, and every detail, from the amenities to the overall design, has been crafted to perfection. The quality of the tents is exceptional—completely secure and well-sealed, meaning we didn’t encounter a single insect inside. What really sets this place apart, however, is the staff. We have never been welcomed with such warmth and genuine friendliness. They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, always ready to assist with any request. Their attention to detail, especially regarding food allergies, was remarkable—they really walked the extra mile to ensure we had safe and delicious meals. The team was always cheerful, smiling, and incredibly kind to our baby, making us feel like part of a family rather than just guests. The resort offers a variety of activities, making it an ideal place for nature lovers and adventurers. There are multiple guided hikes where a knowledgeable staff member accompanies you, sharing insights about the surrounding villages, mountains, rice fields, and local traditions. It’s an immersive experience, far from anything overly touristy. This place feels like a sanctuary—peaceful, authentic, and deeply connected to nature. The food is outstanding—healthy, fresh, and mostly organic. Many of the ingredients are homegrown, including the salads and spices, adding an extra touch of authenticity to every meal. In the evenings, the open-air cinema with a bonfire creates a magical atmosphere. This resort is a hidden paradise, and we cannot wait to return.

Spacious, clean, quiet room. Everything is working well. The wifi was fast. There is an air purifier in the room. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a little park near the hotel where you can stroll in the evening. And there are tables/desks in the room where you can work with a laptop! (a very important factor for us working nomads)

I was very impressed with this stay as I got best deal as to upgrade to bigger Villa which accommodate 3 people to stay. The Villa was very big and well equipped with things like Android TV, Microwave, Fridge and Cattle. The bed was so comfy and bathroom was so big, nice and clean. The highlight was breakfast which I have to travel just a bit up to the hill to Katiliya Mountain Resort and Spa, the BF was amazing which there is full of food in the buffet line. So that I will come back here again next year.
