I found this place on Booking.com and booked it after seeing all the positive reviews. And I am so glad I did! The lady boss is super friendly and helpful, and she really made me feel taken care of. I stayed here as a solo traveler for 4 days and 3 nights. She helped me buy dinner, drove me around some Miaoli attractions for one day, picked me up and dropped me off at the train station, and even helped arrange taxis on the other days when she is not available to drive me around. Honestly, I didn’t expect this level of kindness. The homemade breakfast was so good, especially the 蛋饼 and 炒面. She also let me choose my room, and I ended up staying in two different rooms. Both were clean, cozy, and nicely decorated. I loved all the little decorations and collections from different countries, it made the place feel warm, vintage and unique. Really thankful to the lady boss and all the lovely people I met in Miaoli. Would definitely recommend staying here. ❤️
