We loved our stay in Kendwa Carletto Style. The bungalow was clean and spacious with a nice patio for relaxing with a book. The staff are really helpful and added little details to make our stay extra special. It was nice to get a feel for the locality on the short walk to the beach. At low tide you can walk over and back between Kendwa and Nungwi. If the tide comes in you can take a short taxi ride or water taxi. There is a really nice Italian restaurant with delicious cocktails on Nungwi beach. Can't remember the name but it's up some wooden steps, right beside the Mama Mia ice cream parlour(not the one at Kendwa Rocks)

Beautiful villas in outstanding tropical gardens. Servis of all staff was amazing. Whole hotel concept is unique to safe energy, water and local resources. Chef Beral in main restaurant allways come with new fresh and modern ideas for kitchen and meals. Beach is amazing here well maintained and you can find here quiet spot even beach is not whole private and there is also public part but massai security personal cares about guests and their privacy here. This beach is best on island when you are looking for no tide beach there is only minimum tide during day than other Zanzibar beaches. We loved also Spice garden. You don ‘t need to go to others on island - Zuri spice garden is better than other and include all plants and spice and you can enjoy it for free every morning with hotel guided tour.

We spent our honeymoon I this hotel and everything was outstanding. Clean rooms and facilities, very friendly staff who are adaptive and flexible to meet all your needs. Food was great, option to eat at the beach. The place offered various activities during the day/evening so you can't get bored. Tried the SPA (couple program) which was good value for money. Also booked the romantic dinner on tthe beach, which was outstanding. Staff was very helpful with organising it

My wife and me where there three times in last two years. It tells you something about it! If you look for very nice and calm place this Hotel is the right place for you. Staff is very friendly and there for you 24 hours - the waiter is exceptional. Close to the beach, very clean place, breakfast is more than decent. Good value for fair price. The location is excellent , right next to the best beach in Zanzibar . There are several cheap local restaurants and a liquor store next to the hotel. Spacious rooms with a fridge. European style bathroom. Very clean. Nice helpful service. It's very safe here. Breakfast served on the top floor in the hotel restaurant is sufficient (fruit, tea, coffee, juice, eggs). The owner is friendly and communicative. You can pay by credit card. Wifi works flawlessly.
