beds were ok, pillows are flat. no coffee in lobby like other americaninn hotels. pool area very small. hallway smelled of weed. breakfast was less then desirable. back parking lot nearest my room was absolutely awful.

VERY surprised and disappointed how poorly the parking lot was cleared after the snowfall. This is Minnesota and the property should be better prepared. Only staff issue was a young man at the desk who's attitude was rather indifferent when asked about a non listed $50 damage deposit. He suggested it was in case I partied to hard and trashed the room. $50...really for 'potential room trashing'....please....! Daily breakfast was wonderful...the pancake machine was AWESOME!

The cleanliness and space in our king room were excellent. It even had a vaulted celing and skylight! Breakfast was solid with a cool automatic pancake maker. The location was convenient and close to the freeway (barely noticeable as far as any highway noise). Also, there was a pretty good bar & grill next door across the parking lot. Staff at the motel were very pleasant.
