Incredible spot away from civilisation. Tucked away in the mountains of the Klein Karoo, we had an amazing stay and a lovely rest. Would recommend to anyone wanting to really get away and rest! Staff were lovely and facilities second to none.

The hospitality is great in Aquila. One can see almost all animals during their safari. Morning safari was much better than the evening one. The mountain view from the room was amazing.

Delicious hot dinner with several entree selections was available after a 7pm arrival. Convivial atmosphere—staff is helpful and we’re always on hand to assist. Hot and cold foods available for breakfast.

Location perfect, self catering facilities great, braai facilities great, furniture great, house spacious, rooms spacious, whole cottage well equipped, safe. Host went above and beyond to assist us before, during and after our stay. We would HIGHLY Recommend this cottage to a family with 2 even more children. Warm, comfortable, well furnished and lovely outside entertainment area. Garden well kept. Host more than accommodating and mindful of our needs and assistance in every way. We felt very welcome and cared for throughout the stay.

Rangers Reserve is a recently renovated holiday home in Touwsrivier, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities.

We loved that is was almost off-grid, hidden away in the mountains. It felt like a true get away. We had the Holiday Home that has beautiful views of the mountains and valleys.
