The setting is unreal: a crystal-clear alpine lake nestled among towering green mountains, with summer sunshine sparkling on the water and wildflowers blooming everywhere. The view from my room — especially from the balcony — was absolutely breathtaking. I often just sat there in silence, taking it all in. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between comfort and charm. It felt cozy and welcoming, but still elegant. Traveling alone can sometimes feel awkward, but here I felt completely at ease. The staff were genuinely kind — always helpful, never intrusive — and made me feel like more than just a guest. Every morning started with a peaceful breakfast overlooking the lake, and every evening ended with a sunset that looked like something from a painting. I spent my days swimming, walking along the shore, hiking nearby trails, and simply enjoying the stillness. This place gave me exactly what I needed: space to breathe, think, and just be. Stunning view and cosy interior. The room was spotlessly clean. Later check-in possible due to self-check-in box. I'm seriously considering coming back, and I don't usually feel this way about any hotel.

Family-run for 3 generations, this traditional hotel is located at the beginning of St. Wolfgang's pedestrian zone, right by the shore of Lake Wolfgang.

We had a wonderful time. The place was well-maintained and tastefully decorated. There were no problems at all. All the amenities and facilities were excellent, exactly as described. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. Located in a very beautiful and quiet area. The breakfast was exceptional. If we visit this place again, it will be our first choice. I highly recommend it.

The location is idyllic, from your room window or outside on the shared terrasse and facilities you have a wonderful view of the mountains. The area is quiet and the village nearby has all necessary stores and facilities. The pension is close to many interesting visiting sites. It is easy to access by car and to park on site. The facility has everything you need on site. Rooms are well equipped, extremely clean and comfortable. There is a little kitchen space available as well. Breakfast was copious and delicious and the hosts were absolutely fantastic and friendly. Would recommend this place for a short and for a long stay in the area.
