Die Outrigger Apartments Port Douglas bieten einen beheizten Salzwasserpool, einen tropischen Garten und kostenfreies WLAN. Nahe aller interessanten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Markt, Innenstadt, Einkaufen, Hafen, Strand. Alles fußläufig in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen. Das Appartement war riesig und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Sogar Backofen. Amanda und Peter sind bezaubernd. So herzlich und liebevoll. Selbst meine akinder mochten sie sehr, obwohl sie sich gar nicht bzw. Kaum verständigen konnten. Der Pool ist eine Bereicherung und wir hatten ihn fast immer für uns. Am aller Besten ist das Weitergeb-Prinzip. Lebensmittel, die übrig sind, aber noch haltbar, werden in einem Kühlschrank unten bei den Parkplätzen gesammelt und JEDER kann sich bedienen. Auch Shampoo, Waschmittel usw. stehen als dabei. Das nur 100 m vom Strand Four Mile entfernte Port Douglas Apartments - Adults Only Oasis ist eine Nichtraucherunterkunft nur für Erwachsene mit einem Außenpool, einem Whirlpool und einem Grillplatz... The apartment is a two minute walk to 4 mile beach. It is located on the Main Street of Port Douglas but is very quiet. The apartment is large with a separate bedroom. The living room has a couch plus a dining table with chairs. The kitchen had everything I needed. There was a bbq area downstairs that I used a couple of times to grill steaks from Malones Butcher Shop. There is a free laundry room with three washers and dryers. The pool was refreshing on the muggy days. I booked two tours through the apartment and I was happy with both. My airport shuttle pick up was scheduled for noon. Normally, check out time is 10 am but they let me stay in the apartment until the shuttle arrived at noon. Sonia and Robin were great hosts.

Pool Port Douglas Resort offers a selection of elegant, modern apartments, all spacious, self contained and nestled around a glittering, 185 metre central swimming lagoon. We had a fantastic 4 night stay as a family of 5 in a 3 bed apartment. Just wish we had stayed longer! The two ladies on reception were fantastic and helped arrange tours, gave us ideas and pointed us in the right direction so we had a fabulous stay in port Douglas. The pool(s) itself is incredible, Don’t think I’ve ever seen such a big pool! It was always spotless, and even when lots of other villas were in it still felt empty as it’s so big! Absolutely perfect for a morning or evening swim after all the activities PD has to offer. We loved the self catering apartment and it was really well stocked so we could cook a couple of evenings. Would absolutely stay again if I was in PD. Also really easy to get into town in the paid shuttle so not a problem not being central.
