The room was bright, clean, and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchenette. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Plenty of free parking available too. A fantastic, easygoing place to stay if you’re visiting Port Douglas!

The modern apartments have a kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave. Each apartment has a spacious living area with a flat-screen TV and DVD player. Laundry facilities and covered parking are also provided. The location is second to none - right next to the beach and Main Street with restaurants and cafes on your doorstep. My room was lovely - clean, modern, spacious with gorgeous interiors and really comfortable bed. Sonya and Robin were always on hand to help me out and answer questions, they were great hosts! Pool Port Douglas Resort offers a selection of elegant, modern apartments, all spacious, self contained and nestled around a glittering, 185 metre central swimming lagoon. There are also two smaller lap pools that overlook the surrounding mountains & golf course. We had a wonderful stay in a 2-bedroom swim-out apartment, which was perfect for our family. The space was thoughtfully designed with plenty of storage, and the beds were super comfortable. It’s a little further out of town, but we appreciated the quiet, peaceful surroundings. The staff were warm, helpful, and made us feel right at home. A real highlight was the excellent café just a short walk away, serving delicious breakfast and lunch with beautiful river views—we went every day. We also loved relaxing on our patio each afternoon and stepping straight into the pool.
