I was visiting the small hotel during a business trip for a one-night stay. This location is one of the nicest places I ever visited. This is because of the individually furnished house and rooms and the exceptional hospitality of the hotel staff. As a german, I was surprised about the fluent german-speaking host. Entering the appartment, you do not know where to look at first: the fan, the cupboard, the table never seen before something like this. The standard of the bathroom is extraordinary. I was only there for one night. If you can arrange, stay longer and enjoy the wonderful view on the landscape, take a seat at the terrace or read some books in the lobby. There is no building next to the hotel except for nature. For the tourists coming far away from Canada: You can buy here Maple syrup in bottles modelled on the shape of a violin.

Michelle (the owner) thought of everything - water in the fridge, cups plates and napkins and cutlery, and mosquito repellant so we could sit outside at night, the treats from the local bakery were an added touch. Would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was a highlight with homemade bread and live fiddle music, which added a very special touch to our stay.

The property offers free parking. The facilities in the cottages were exceptional. The kitchen was stocked way better than many airbnb's. The staff was super helpful and very nice. Although we didn't use it, the games room looked amazing!

The service was impeccable; the room immaculate and comfortable. Really enjoyed breakfast in the lovely dining room. It reminded me a bit of my childhood with the blue plates and other touches of home on the wall and hearth. Thank you.

The Canso Causeway is within a 5-minute drive from Chisholms of Troy Coastal Cottages. It is 10 km from Port Hawkesbury, filled with a variety of restaurants, and 24 km from Dundee Golf Club. On-site parking is provided. The hill top lodges has a great view and are in a quiet environment. The kitchen is well equipped and the host lets us use a large pot to cook lobsters. The check-in was smooth and easy too.

Facing the seafront, The Zzzz Moose Camping Cabins is a campground providing a 2-star accommodation in Birch Plain. It features a private beach area, garden and parking on-site. Featuring mountain and garden views, this campground also offers free WiFi. Outdoor seating is also available at the campground. The room was cozy and the breakfast was delicious! Also we could reach the beautiful beach!
