The hotel is astonishing and iconic! We were very welcomed! We received a free upgrade at entrance. We stayed in an 2-bedroom-apartment with a really nice view to the Yangtse and Jialing rivers. In the apartment we have everything: excellent toiletries, a very well equipped kitchen, laundry with washing and dry machine and high quality bed linens and towels. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful, but the majority didn't speak english very well.

Some units are air conditioned and include a seating area with a flat-screen TV. Some units also have a kitchen, fitted with a microwave and fridge. The breakfasts were nice. A variety of foods. My travel partner on the other hand was not as happy with the lack of diversity of foods. Loved the people who cleaned our room as they noticed when we needed something in the room and supplied without us even asking! For instance, we had a washing machine in the room and used it. They saw we didn't have a place to hang the clothes to dry and brought the clothes rack and put all our wet clothes on. They left our personal things how they were and cleaned where needed.
