Excellent service from hotel staff - helped with booking a day trip to Longji Rice Terraces and also the Li River cruise. Hotel staff gave a lot of advice about where to go and see local sights around Guilin. Everyone's English was also excellent. Location was also very central.

The property is around 5.8 km from Gunanmen Gate, 5.9 km from Zhengyang Pedestrian Street and 6.5 km from Guilin Railway Station. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. It was a perfectly organized stay. We messaged the property via booking.com to get a transfer from train station and tours to Longji rice terraces and Li Cruise organized. Everything was duly noted and executed. We were picked up by the driver at the train station (it was a free pick-up included in the price because we stayed for 3 nights). Next day the driver took us to the docks and handed tickets for the Li Cruise. The other day English-speaking driver Peter picked us up and we drove to the Longji rice terraces. Before going to the terraces we cooked a bamboo rice and visited minority village. Also we had one more free day when we arrived, and the receptionist showed us the points of interest to visit in Guilin (lake with Pagoda twin towers, elephant trunk park, etc.). The staff does not speak any English but we were able to communicate fluently via WeChat (there is a built-in translator there), Google translate and other translator apps. So in general we had no communication issues.

Lujia Village is only 2 kilometers from the center of Guilin. It is one of the first 16 famous villages in Guangxi. They are also known for making tofu. 2) The hotel staff always went over and beyond for us. They helped us book our tour tickets, get a taxi where ever we were, prepared food that we want, and even did online shopping for us. They made the impossible possible for us especially when they were able to find the shirt that my son has been looking for. 3) We didn’t have to travel outside the village to find home-cooked dinner meal , especially after a day of sightseeing! Just about 3 minutes walk from the hotel is our favorite family restaurant. We ate there every night. 4) The inside of the hotel is newly renovated. It gave a vibe of simplicity and functional. I like that they have bathtubs in the rooms that we got. We even had access to the rooftop! 5) Their breakfast is so customizable! They always ask us what if we have any requests the day before breakfast. I personally enjoyed the Guilin Rice Noodles. What an incredible first experience in China!

The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. It‘s a perfect place to relax. We felt thorough hospitality and peaceful atmosphere. We liked it there so much that we even extended our stay. You can find nice cafes, a bakery and restaurants in a close distance. And their dog and cats were so friendly and adorable.

The owner David is very helpful he booked all my activities and airport drop off for me and event drop and pick me up from the night cruise. The place is very convenient and I walked to Elephant Hill Park before heading to the airport in the morning. They provided me with late dinner and early breakfast as needed. I really appreciate all he did for me!

My mum suffered a life threatening condition while we visited, they saved her life. Nice location and view , easy pleasant walk into town or shuttle organised by the hotel. Bicycles free to take out for a ride. Don’t miss the sporty, healthy atmosphere by the river in the morning, the locals will definitely inspire you! Try the local noodles for breakfast, I definitely loved them. Several Western options available as well. Very nice choice of food for lunch and dinner, long opening hours for the roof-top restaurant.
