The staff is incredible especially at the main restaurant near lobby! They went above and beyond for us when we wanted sushi and prepare it specially. The room was impeccable and the pool very relaxing.

Wow! what a location; it’s an adventure gettimg there…but absolutely worth it. Solo traveler; the Masaya team does a great job w activities, chill music, places to be solo and place to be w others, communal later dinners, and just very cheerful folks who take care of the lodge, the food, and the folks to a recognizable degree. GRACIAS, Masaya Casas Viejas. When I return to the coast ..I will be back.

J avais choisi cet hôtel pour le complexe de piscine pour mon fils qui adore nager. Clairement, un super endroit pour séjourner à Santa Marta. On avait dormi en centre ville, on a en est voulu car à part les bons restos de Santa Marta la ville est en decrepitude totale. Bien dommage. Dans cet hôtel, on s est senti super bien, grande chambre, propre, balcon vue sur la mer, une excellente te restauration. On aurait du y rester plus longtemps. Santa Marta est la Porte d entrée du parc Tayrona. On reviendra dans cet hôtel.

We arrived late afternoon which meant our room was ready straight away. The hotel were helpful in advance letting us of the park entrance ticket booth closing time which meant we arrived before closing time (5pm). The hotel is beautiful, the views are fantastic and the sky was clear both nights we were there which meant we could stargaze from our terrace. It was super quiet and peaceful. Right by one of the main entrances to the park, easy to find and very easy to start our hike into the park early in the morning. They have a pingpong table and board games in the dining room which were fun to play in the evenings too. We will be back!

L’établissement Hotel El Santuario se situe à Minca, à 23 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. We stayed a week at this small family run hostel 5km up the hill from Minca. The views are incredible. Many birds, including Toucans, can be viewed from the terrace. Our room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom a bit of a squeeze. Very homely. Very tranquil. Jose and his family are extremely friendly and helpful and made our visit memorable. The meals are simple and varied. If you’re fit and enthusiastic there are several good trails further into the hills. The small pool is welcome after a hot day in the rainforest. Motorbike taxis are frequent to and from Minca. Highly recommended.
