The setting and the welcome from staff are incredible. You feel like you are in nature but in walking distance to Solento. The breakfasts are fantastic and the food in the restaurant is good as well. I couldn’t fault it and works highly recommend this hotel.

What a cute place! Teo, the guardian dog is super attentive as well as the other members of the staff.

The property was well equipped even with filter water for us to take. The twin room was cosy and comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and the options of activities was great. Jeremy took us on a tour of three different places in the area and we learned so much about the local history, super interesting. Would highly recommend :)

Don Jair is a really nice host, he stayed late to welcome us, and the whole time we stayed he was very helpful and just seems like a really nice guy that cares about those that stay at his hotel. It's really clean and well looked after, and the views are spectacular! The breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, toast and eggs with cheese. It was the perfect size and the fruit in particular was delicious. It's only 12 minute walk to the central plaza, and there plenty to see on the walk there. Overall we loved our stay here

This has been one of our best travel experiences. The entire team are exceptional hosts - warm, friendly, attentive. They work so hard to make this a nice stay for everyone, no matter your age or background. La Masia has different types of rooms, and we had one of the smaller standard rooms. It was cozy and peaceful, and the space outside is just fabulous. There are multiple benches and hammocks to hang out, or you just roam the beautiful garden with its trees full of birds, or have a chat with one of the staff (which was possible despite our bad Spanish!) They also have a good kitchen, with a hearty Colombian breakfast in the morning and solid Colombian dishes in the evening. And someone is always there to make you a coffee or tea in the afternoon and tell you to relax. Note that this hotel is located a bit outside of the town of Salento - but that makes it even better. You will not find the same peace in the town after a day of hiking or exploration. It's absolutely worth paying an Uber/ Taxi. There is a kiosk nearby where you can buy snacks and water, or you walk to the main road to grab a bite. It's a safe and village-like community where everyone greets you on the way. Thank you, Diego, Joanna and Jon and the entire team - we hope to come back one day.

The owner responded super fast on Whatsapp before our stay and waited for us when we arrived. He asked us what we'd like for breakfast and at what time. Great hospitality! In the morning we used the jacuzzi, that was the reason my partner and I picked this cabin. With the sound of birds in the background, our morning couldn't get better.
