Very good breakfast buffet with a lot of choices of fine products. Travelled a lot but this is the best breakfast buffet so far. Too bad that I was only there for one night on business.

All rooms at Koldingfjord Hotel have a work desk and minibar. Some rooms offer views of the Kolding Fjord, while others are located in an annex building. Well.. a nice surprise. A few years ago, a colleague stayed a few times and did not rate the place. Not sure if it's changed ownership, but it's a beautiful, quirky building, very nicely restored in a mid century kind of way. I was in a room in the 700s which are on the hillside through a James Bond villain tunnel and lift. Nicely appointed room, well done bathroom all super clean. And an actual minibar. With things in it. Proper cups for coffee, not paper. A former colleague joined for dinner in the Cafe, with well presented food and good service, the downstairs bar is really a hidden gem too. All in all, way exceeded my expectations and thoroughly recommend it.
