From the moment we were picked up at the airport to the moment we left, the staff made us feel very welcome and did everything they could to make sure we had an amazing stay. They organized tours for us and the restaurant chefs even made sure there were special vegetarian meals available for us each day (in addition to the regular menu!). The bures are very comfortable and you are very close to the beach. Nice snorkelling if you go far enough - and you can even spot reef sharks at sunset if you’re lucky!

Cute cottage, spacious, well equipped, very comfortable beds, quiet. Views of the ocean. Vinna and Robert were wonderful hosts, warm hospitality, so helpful. Vinna has an organic fruit and veg stall at front of property, and makes fabulous smoothies, and offers delicious home cooked Fijian dishes. Robert gave us a lifts around, and took us to the waterfalls (wonderful) and he offers boat trips too.

We really enjoyed our stay at JayDees, the people living here are the kindest people we ever met, they are alwaysg happy to help you and provide very good advices to travel around the beautiful island of Taveuni. The food was just amazing and always varied, local and in good quantities. We loved the music played during our meals, the coconuts and papaya provided everyday from the garden. We were sad to say goodbye to them.

The family is so special, they dedicate their time to make your stay memorable. They organize tours for you for example snorkelling or horse riding, they help to rent a car. When i got burnt with the sun they cut for me fresh Aloe vera very late in the evening so I could sleep after soothing my sunburnt skin with Aloe. They cook for you very fresh food, nice tarrace to eat your meals there, good location and amazing atmosphere!!! <3 The family is saying that they are building a New guesthouse and will be ready soon. For now the bathroom is shared and very basic but it is temporary.

Gelegen in Matei, bietet die Unterkunft Lomani Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Außenpool, kostenlosem WLAN, einem kostenlosen Shuttle-Service und einem Zimmerservice. Walking in to Lomani was truly a "WOW" moment and you instantly fall in love. Lomani has the most incredible view up on the hill of the Somosomo Straight right from it's own pool, it honestly doesn't feel real! We cooked our own breakfast in the large kitchen, loved roaming the grounds to find fruits (like pineapples) and tropical flowers. The wifi and Netflix are awesome additions too, but we just found ourselves enjoying switching off and gazing into the stunning sunsets and showered under the stars. Knox was so helpful and picked us up from the ferry, drove us to the shops for supplies, and lots of activities, including the beautiful Bouma falls and we also snorkelled the insanely colourful rainbow reef (amazing dive shop just down the road!). Our experience was enriched greatly by Knox and we enjoyed our time getting to know him. Saskia is also a fabulous host who communicated everything we needed to know before our stay. Glass bottom kayaks and snorkel gear are also available but sadly we ran out of time to use them. There are so many activities to chose from, or equally opportunities to just relax, recharge, and connect with nature and each other. Knox even worked tirelessly all day to cook us a traditional Lovo on our final night at Lomani, which was so delicious and very memorable. It rained quite heavily during our time but it didn't dampen our experience at all. Lomani is a quaint cottage that feels cosy and spacious like home (but with ten times more incredible views). There is something deeply special about Lomani and we hope to return one day but stay longer than three nights. Taveuni is a tranquil, quiet, lush garden island teaming with wildlife, fruit, flowers and creatures (like frogs and geckos), along with such kind hearted people. Unlike anywhere we have ever been before. We are from a busy city and loved how Taveuni is the opposite.
