The breakfast was very tasty and the highlight was being served a variety of jams made from their own garden. The beds were super comfortable, the room was quiet and spotlessly clean. The location was perfect for us on our way home to the UK, not far from the motorway but in a quiet setting. The town is a short drive away and there are a couple of restaurants by the river.

What really made the stay special was the hostess, Isabelle — warm, welcoming, and attentive, she made us feel completely at home. For dining, the nearby La Bicyclette Bleue restaurant is a great spot to savor local specialties. In short: a truly unique and relaxing escape, where history, comfort, and Isabelle’s hospitality come together beautifully.

If you’re travelling in group needing 2 rooms this probably isn’t an issue. You won’t find a more comfortable/quiet stay if that’s what you’re looking for….

Grote gedeelde badkamer , maar er zijn ook kamers met een.prive badkamer. Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreidt en we mochten ook wat meenemen voor onderweg. In de buurt izijn restaurantjes die om 19 uur opengaan en een fast food die al veel eerder open is. Eten was daar lekker. En er is een supermarkt in het dorp. Bedankt Sandra, voor alles 🌸
