The hotel has a lot of history and is proud of it, rightfully so. The village itself is very picturesque.

It is located 2mins walk to the town of Bourton on Water, which is beautiful and scenic. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Both meals were really delicious. We would love to stay there again.

Built in the 17th century, the Bird in Hand Inn retains many period features including Cotswold stone walls and beamed ceilings. There is a large fireplace in the winter and a terrace for summer dining. A wonderful and cozy place to spend the weekend. We had a relaxing experience and an amazing dinner by the fire. The location is great as a base to visit the cotswolds. Absolutely recommended!
